This was me… a VERY long time ago when you couldn’t pay me to stop moving. Waiting in line, other’s minds may wander, but for me it was my feet and occasionally my hands mimicking what my feet were longing to do.
I am still very connected to movement – when I get grumpy and myopic for what seems like no reason, I find it is because I haven’t moved my body. It’s like being hangry but the essential driver is movement.
Think about how movement plays a role in your mood. How does taking even a 15 minute walk at lunch shift your outlook. How might committing to movement for a week (not exercise per se, but just moving for the sake of experiencing your surroundings) – how might that impact your mood, productivity and energy?
