My own unconventional path led me to a 20-year dedication to classical ballet, a 20-year career in neurological and behavioral research, and an 11-year practice of yoga and meditation. Along the way, I also explored other interests like massage, acupuncture, Reiki, photography and even coaching yogis to win yoga competitions. My path revealed that I am most fulfilled when I can help others push their boundaries beyond what they once thought was unattainable.

Experience

I am a certified professional coach and an Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner (ELI-MP), both certifications obtained from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC). I am also certified with the International Coach Federation, the industry standard for professionalism and ethics in coaching.

Before coaching, I was in neurological and psychological research for 20 years and have a degree in biological psychology which granted me a great appreciation of evidence-based skills and concepts. I now combine evidence-based strategies with effective coaching skills to help my clients achieve their goals, gain clarity on what drives them and connect with their authentic self for the ultimate goal of a more joyful and satisfying life.

Lasting results over short-term wins

Action is essential for progress, but without addressing your blocks and perceived limitations, you may experience false starts or worse, inaction at a crucial point in your path. I help you work past those blocks toward transformational change instead of quick fixes that don’t last.

Why mindfulness matters

The more you are aware of your patterns of thoughts and behaviors, the more mental space you have to create conscious and lasting change in your life. I incorporate mindfulness techniques into our sessions to help you create that mental space in sessions and in life.

Your body knows

Your body constantly gives cues about your emotional status, even when you are not conscious of them. These cues can be great tools to increase your emotional awareness. In our sessions, I incorporate techniques to help you read your own body’s cues and gain insight into the root cause of some reactions.

I will support you, root for you, and help you to stay motivated as you discover your blocks and your new path. I also promise to challenge you and help you with accountability. I will not tell you what to do, but I will remind you of your goals and values. Lastly, I promise to bring humor, fun, and creativity, when appropriate.
